1. Purpose and Scope
The purpose of this Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) is to outline the acceptable use of ExMint’s services and systems to ensure the security, integrity, and availability of information. This policy applies to all users, including employees, contractors, consultants, and temporary personnel, who access or use any systems, data, or networks owned or operated by Automatos Consulting Inc.
2. Prohibited Activities
Users are prohibited from engaging in the following activities:
- Illegal Activities: Using ExMint services for any illegal purposes, including but not limited to violating any local, state, national, or international laws.
- Unauthorized Access: Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any systems, data, or networks, including attempting to breach security or authentication measures.
- Malicious Software: Uploading, distributing, or transmitting any malicious software, viruses, or other harmful programs.
- Data Misuse: Accessing, using, or disclosing any data without proper authorization or for any purposes other than those for which it was collected.
- Interference: Interfering with or disrupting the integrity or performance of ExMint services or the data contained therein.
- Impersonation: Impersonating any person or entity or misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or entity.
3. User Responsibilities
All users are expected to adhere to the following responsibilities:
- Confidentiality: Users must maintain the confidentiality of their credentials and are responsible for any actions taken using their accounts.
- Compliance: Users must comply with all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Security Incidents: Users must report any security incidents or violations of this policy to the appropriate authorities within the organization promptly.
- Data Protection: Users must handle all data in accordance with the Data Protection Policy and ensure that sensitive information is protected from unauthorized access or disclosure.
4. Consequences of Violation
Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to:
- Suspension or termination of access to ExMint services and systems.
- Termination of employment or contractual agreements.
- Legal action, including civil or criminal prosecution.
5. Reporting Violations
Users are encouraged to report any violations of this policy or any suspicious activities to the Information Security Team at legal@exmint.automatos.ca. All reports will be investigated promptly and thoroughly.
