ExMint Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the ExMint service, including our website and Excel Add-In (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not use our Service.
2. Description of Service
ExMint provides a financial management tool that allows users to sync and analyze their banking transactions within Microsoft Excel. Our Service uses Plaid to connect to financial institutions and retrieve transaction data.
3. User Accounts
3.1. You must create an account to use ExMint. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.
3.2. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
4. User Responsibilities
4.1. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
4.2. You agree not to use the Service for any illegal purposes or in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international law.
4.3. You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service or any other systems or networks connected to the Service.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1. The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by ExMint and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
5.2. You are granted a limited license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use only.
6. Data Privacy and Security
6.1. Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
6.2. You understand that ExMint does not store your financial transaction data on its servers. This data is transmitted directly to your Excel workbook.
6.3. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Excel files containing financial data retrieved through ExMint.
7. Third-Party Services
7.1. The Service uses Plaid to connect to financial institutions. Your use of ExMint is also subject to Plaid’s terms of service and privacy policy.
7.2. ExMint is not responsible for any issues arising from the services provided by third parties, including Plaid and financial institutions.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
8.1. The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. ExMint makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1. In no event shall ExMint, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
10. Changes to Terms
10.1. We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes to the Terms.
11. Termination
11.1. We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.
12. Governing Law
12.1. These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
